At Takealytics, we understand the complexities of managing data across multiple platforms, especially when it comes to aligning your internal store data with the names displayed on delivery aggregators. To help you streamline this process, we’ve introduced a new feature that allows you to customise the store and restaurant names displayed within the Takealytics platform.

Why Customise Store and Restaurant Names?

This feature is designed to simplify your data management and analysis by allowing you to replace the default names with identifiers that are more meaningful to your internal processes. Here are a few benefits of this feature:

  • Improved Data Accuracy: By using your internal store IDs, names, or even the name of the area manager, you can more easily cross-reference data, leading to more accurate performance analysis across all your venues.

  • Enhanced Efficiency: With customised names, you can quickly identify and manage your venues, reducing the time spent searching for specific locations within the platform.

  • Better Alignment with Internal Systems: Custom names allow for better integration and alignment with your internal systems, ensuring that the data you see on Takealytics matches what you use internally.

How to Set Up Custom Store and Restaurant Names

Setting up this feature is straightforward, and you have the flexibility to include additional attributes along with the custom venue names. Follow these steps to get started:

  1. Prepare Your Data: Create a file (in CSV or Excel format) that includes the following columns:

    • Venue ID or Venue Postcode: This is how we identify your venues in our system - Venue ID as shown on Deliveroo, Just Eat or Uber Eats is preferable.

    • Custom Venue Name: This is the name you want to display on the Takealytics platform. It can include store numbers and internal names.

    • Additional Attributes (optional): You can include more fields like Area Manager Name, Store Type, Region, etc. These will be loaded as attributes into Takealytics and can be viewed in Grid Builder for more detailed analysis.

Note: The Custom Venue Name field is required for us to update your venue names within the platform.

  2. Send Us Your File: Once your file is ready, send it to our support team at hello@takealytics.com.

  3. We’ll Do the Rest: Our team will import your custom names and any additional attributes into your Takealytics account. Once the import is complete, you’ll see your custom names and attributes reflected across the platform, and they can be accessed through Grid Builder.
