The Delivery Fee and Minimum Order Value data is available now in Grid Builder.

Brand - Tracking consistency across your estate

If you are a restaurant chain it can be useful to ensure your delivery fee and minimum order value is consistent across your estate by seeing every location in one place. This is much easier to view in Takealytics then to open and check every venue individually.

If there are inconsistencies this may result in lower sales in those locations as competitors are providing a more competitive offering.

We would recommend selecting your Brand and then the Minimum Order Value and Delivery Fee fields in Grid Builder.

In this example for Zizzi on Just Eat in can be see that certain locations have free delivery whilst the rest of the locations charge £0.99 for delivery. This maybe an administrative error in the setup of the account on Just Eat.

Independent - Tracking your competitors offering

If you are an independent restaurant Takealytics can help you to understand how competitive your fees are versus nearby competitors. To access this enter the post code of your restaurant, and set a relevant radius.

Filter the report to venues of a similar food type and select Delivery Fee and Minimum Order Value fields.

The example below is looking at Namasta Kitchen Bar & Restaurant in Reading and comparing it to other nearby Indian restaurants. In this example it can be see that Namaste has a higher delivery fee and a higher minimum order value which may result in consumers purchasing from their competitors instead.

Aggregators - Ensuring Delivery Fees are competitive

When comparing delivery fees across aggregators you may see opportunities to change your fees if there are instances where you are considerably more expensive than competitors. We have run reports comparing the fees across the aggregators and sorting on those with the highest variance. As an example the below details where the Delivery Fee is higher on Just Eat than on Deliveroo.

Similar reporting can be done on Minimum Order Value:
