Takealytics currently captures Delivery Fee and Minimum Order Value from Deliveroo and Just Eat. This is updated every 7-10 days and is shown as fields in Grid Builder.

The data is captured by setting the location to a nearby area of the venue (we use the same post code as the venue itself), reflecting the minimum delivery fee and minimum order value for that location. This change ensures consistency across both Deliveroo and Just Eat.

For Deliveroo, the delivery fee and minimum order value are captured directly from the venue page after setting the location to the restaurant’s address. This reflects the minimum delivery fee for the closest delivery area.

Whilst for Just Eat, where various delivery fee bands may be shown, we capture the price from the band where the minimum order value is above zero. This approach aligns with the methodology used for Deliveroo, providing a like-for-like comparison.

This is to create a like for like comparison to the way delivery fee and minimum order value is shown on Deliveroo.

Both platforms allow you to place orders below the minimum order value, but a small order fee is added. For Just Eat, this small order fee applies when the minimum order value is zero, similar to how the minimum delivery fee is captured.
