Takealytics have now added Brands to the Takealytics platform. This enables you to filter your analysis by brands or independents as well as access brand data in Grid Builder and exports.

Selecting Brands

  • Log into your Takealytics account and if licensed you will see the Brands button shown at the top of the page.

  • Click on this to then select the specific brands you would like to see in your analysis. You can select as many as you would like.

  • Click Apply and your selected brands will be applied to your reports or any data export functionalities you utiise.

  • Brands can also be selected when using the text filter at the top of the page.

Using the Brands Filter within your data selection

In addition to be able to select brands for your analysis you can filter down your existing analysis by specific brands or independents. This is useful if you want to understand which brands operate nearby to your location.

  • Navigate to the Filter Section: Log into your Takealytics account, use the postcode search at the top of the page to select a post code or area and go to the Filter section found in the top menu.

  • Select One or More Brands: Scroll down the Filter to the Brands section.

  • Select your Brands: Here you can view all or click Specific Brands. Then type in the brands you want to filter the report to show. You can select more than one.

  • Toggle to Independents: In the Brands filter, there is a toggle switch to choose between Specific Brands or Independents. Switch to Independents to focus on non-branded, local venues.

Viewing the Brand Field in Exports

The Brand Field can be shown as a column in your exports.

  • To add the Brand field into your reports and exports select Grid Builder from the menu on the left.

  • Click through to Filters and then choose Grid Builder to pick the fields shown in your grid.

  • Select the Brands Field and add it to your report. This will display the brand for that venue. If no brand is shown this venue is potentially an independent venue.

If you receive any custom exports please speak to the Takealytics team to request this field to be added to your account.

Saving and Using Filters

  • Save Your Settings: You can save your Brand filter settings for future reports. This ensures that you can quickly access custom views of your data without needing to reapply filters each time.

  • Regular Updates: The list of brands is regularly updated to reflect the market changes and new entries. Ensure you check for updates to the brand list periodically. If any brands are missing or not all venues are shown for a brand filter please contact the Takealytics Support Team.
