It can be extremely useful to understand what types of promotions your competitors are doing nearby to help plan your own promotional strategy.
To understand your competitors promotional strategy:
1) Click on "Promotions" on the top left to select the promotions analysis.
Note if you don't see this option you may not be licensed to it - contact your Account Manager to find out more.
2) Enter the town or post code in the search box.
The venues Promotional Calendar will be generated showing all promotional activity over the last two weeks.
Note: You can filter this to only showing the venues which are on promotion by ticking the box at the top of screen.
Equally you may wish to filter this analysis to only showing venues of the same food type as you - for example Pizza.
You can then expand the time period of your analysis by going to the Date filter and changing the time period shown. This maybe useful for also looking at the same time last year or at specific seasonal periods such as Christmas or Easter.
This report now shows the promotional activity of Pizza Restaurants near my restaurant.
The report can be Exported by clicking the Export button.
