'Depth of Cut' is the level of discount offered on a promotion vs it's normal price.

For example if you saw the promotion: “Cheeky Tuesday - 20% off when you spend £15” the depth of cut would be 20%.

Takealytics parses this information from the promotional text or calculates it if the percentage value isn’t specifically detailed. You can access this metric within Grid Builder and it’s also shown within the Promotions Analysis.
