An inspiring and well-done photo will remove any potential doubts about the quality of the food and push a shopper to make a purchase but this needs to be consistently shown across your whole menu range.

Adding professionally-taken photos to your page guarantees at least a 30% boost in sales.

Whilst a clearly defined menu considerably boosts sales, an inconsistent menu (with some items having images and some not) is actually more confusing to the consumer and can drive shoppers away.

Focus on ensuring items are in-sync across platforms, are in-stock where possible and show consistent imagery and clear descriptions for every menu item.

How to Run the Report

1) Select the Grid Builder analysis and type in the name of your estate. e.g. Frankie & Benny.

2) Click on Filters, choose Grid Builder and Select the fields Menu Items, Missing Images and Missing Descriptions fields.

3) Click Apply to run the report.

This report details the number of menu items and where menu items are missing images or descriptions. Sort the column by the headers to identify any outliers.

In some instances we see locations (particularly on Just Eat) where no images have been loaded. We would recommend if possible to use the same images and descriptions across platforms for consistency.

Click on the link to the right of the platform column to view the venue on the platform and identify the items missing images and descriptions. In this example one of the missing images is a bottle of wine.

We would recommend reviewing this on a regular basis to ensure all images are shown.
