What are Hero Images?

Hero images are the background images associated with a restaurant or venue. These are the images used on the shelf page and when you select a specific venue and are the main image communicating your restaurant. Restaurants often update these images to be seasonal or to reflect current promotions.

How do I track these in Takealytics?

It is important for brand consistency that your hero images are updated across your whole estate. Using Grid Builder you can easily review your hero images across your whole estate in one place. To see your Hero images:

1) Select Grid Builder

2) Add your venue search term e.g. Hard Rock

3) Click Filter and Select the Grid Builder tab.

4) Choose Hero Image from the list and click Apply

The Hero Images will now be shown in the grid.

Click on the Hero image to get a full page view of the image.

The image shown is always the latest Hero image regardless of the time period selected in your analysis.

When you export Grid Builder with Hero images the URL of the Hero Image is shown. Click on the URL link to view the full image.
